Do you know that at-home-mothers like us can make the most of our time and earn money at home?

I am a single mother to my 6 beautiful and wonderful children - 3 in college and 3 in high school. I used to work as Accountant for almost 15 years, and there came a point in time where I am so much suffocated in that 4-corners-office. So what I did was, I get out and start finding where my new comfort zone is. So with the help of internet, I search and search and search on the possible ways to make money, I am sure there are and I am positive! Until I found and get interested with Polvoron Candy Making. It catches my attention maybe because it is one of my favorite milk candies here in the Philippines.

So without further adieu, I am sharing with you the Reipe and Procedure how to make Polvoron Candy:

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups powdered milk

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup melted butter

Add-ons variety like pinipig, peanuts, cashew nuts, sprinkles

Powdered Milk can be Anchor or Nido or skim milk

HOW TO PREPARE POLVORON

(English/Tagalog Version)

Toast the flour until brown in color. Remove from heat. Let it cool. (Sangkutsahin ang harina, walang mantika ah, hanggang medyo brown na ang kulay, patayin ang apoy, at hayaang lumamig).

Melt the butter. Set aside. (Habang pinapalamig ninyo ang harina, tunawin ang butter or margarine at ihiwalay)

Combine powdered milk, sugar and toasted flour. (Paghaluin ang harina, powdered milk at asukal)

Add the melted butter and mix until well combined. Make sure you break the lumps while stirring the mixture. (Idagdag ang tinunaw na butter or margarine sa pinaghalong harina, powdered milk at asukal, siguraduhin ninyo na walang butil-butil or buo-buo)

Mould the polvoron mixture firmly. (Gamit ang polvoron moulder, i-mould na ninyo ang inyong polvoron mixture)

Wrap the moulded polvoron mixture with cellophane or Japanese paper. (Balutin ang polvoron)

(Please note that you can add up peanuts, pinipig, cashew, cookies and cream or whatever you want).

ENJOY eating, when you're convinced enough that your Polvoron can make a hit, go ahead and start selling. Mine sells for P3.00 each - half capital, half income. I am now distributing at least 150 packs (12 pcs) a day to 4 schools in my nearby area.

Hello and Good Morning. It's been a long since I last got here, actually I forgot all the blogs that I have posted in here. I guess I should have to charge it to so much household chores and personally taking care of my 6 children.
